ATTENTION!!! Businesses located in the Camden EmpowermentZone can receive a number of financial incentives, including:-EZ Business Grant- $1,000 per EZ resident employed, $5,000 maximum(for small companies).-Empowerment Zone Employment Tax Credit-up to $3,000 per EZ resident. -Welfare to Work Tax Credit-up to $8,500 per employee. -Work Opportunity Tax Credit-up to $2,400 per employee. -Tax-Exempt EZ Bonds-up to $130 million in tax-exempt bonds. -Increased Section 179 Deduction-up to an additional $20,000 deduction -Urban Enterprise Zone designation-reduced sales tax, sales taxexemption status, etc. -HUB Zone designation-eligible to receive HUBZone (federal) contracts.
